Project Leader/Project Manager Thailand
High Level overview
Clean Energy Bridge is a decarbonization development company, dedicated to developing and financing coal-to-clean power projects in emerging markets. We specialize in bridging the transition from traditional fossil fuel-based power generation to renewable energy solutions, supporting countries in their shift toward cleaner, more sustainable energy sources. Clean Energy Bridge is backed by leading philanthropic capital.
The project is a renewable energy initiative in Thailand, focused on conducting a prefeasibility study to replace an integrated coal power project with renewable energy operations. We are developing strong relationships with key players and stakeholders in the Thailand power landscape. If successful, we expect to prevent the emission of millions of tons of CO2 per annum and unlock billions of USD in investment. The implications of this will benefit Thailand and the broader region, as a case study of a commercially viable coal power plant transition.
The Project Lead will shape the performance and output of the commercial solution we develop, working closely with international and local experts. A key component of the project involves engaging C-suite equivalent government and utility stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to build on existing expertise in the power sector and develop relationships with leading players in the coal-to-clean power space.
The primary objective for the first three months is to secure a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with either the power plant utility or the state-owned energy utility, a critical step in advancing the initiative.
We are seeking a Project Lead/Project Manager to drive the feasibility study, who will also function as a project generalist and integrator. Responsibilities include financial modelling, document preparation, and contractor/advisor/legal coordination. The role is initially scoped for three months, with the potential for extension based on project progress.
